September Guild Meeting: Resizing Any Block with Cindy Barfield

The Zoom meeting room will open at 6:15 and the meeting will begin at 6:30 MDT. Guests are welcome to attend this meeting for an admission fee of $8. NOTE: We will be voting on 2021 officers at this meeting. 

Resizing Any Block!

Have you ever wondered how to make a quilt a different size and gotten tripped up by the math? Cindy will show us how to resize any block using two different methods. She'll take the mystery out of the math. There will be a downloadable worksheet for those who attend. The next pattern you look at, it will be easier to figure out "how did they do that?" 
Informative and fun too . . . there should be a few chuckles.

ABOUT THE INSTRUCTOR

Cindy Barfield is a quilter from New Mexico. 

  • Born in New Mexico
  • Traveled and lived all over the United States
  • Went to George Mason University and UNM
  • Worked at Corporate Law Firms in Washington DC until I had my daughter
  • One Daughter, One Husband
  • Quilting for 22 years
  • Working at Santa Fe Quilting for 20 years
  • Teaching Quilting for 19 years
  • Quilting for 22 years
  • Lectured and taught for guilds in the Area, Colorado & New Mexico for 10 years
  • Northern New Mexico Quilt Guild member since 2000
  • Have done every job on the board except Treasurer and Secretary
  • Guild President 3 times....not normally heard of
  • Very organized person, so quilting fits me!
