June Workshop: The Tuffet Class
Tuffet [tuhf-it] - A low upholstered seat or footstool, hassack, or ottoman
ACQ is excited to offer you The Tuffet Workshop with Cathy Burk! Cathy is a certified tuffet instructor who completed her training with Tuffet Source and teaches regularly at Lyons Quilting in Lyons, CO. This will be an in-person class!
Tuffets can add a touch of whimsy to your home that blend with all decors and bridge the gap between design and function. In addition to being heirloom home accents, they make treasured gifts for special occasions including weddings, new babies, anniversaries and special birthdays.
Join us and learn to sew a gorgeous tuffet cover during the first class session and turn that cover into an upholstered footstool during the second session. Tuffets measure approximately 18" in diameter. Once you've made your first tuffet, you will want to make more!
