SPECIAL EVENT WORKSHOP - "March Madness" Sew Day

It's that time of year again -- brackets are buzzing, fans are cheering, and basketball is everywhere! While the world may be focused on buzzer-beaters and final scores, we're bringing our own version of madness to the sewing room!

Let me tell you a quick story...

A few years ago, my friend Lisa found herself on national TV. Her son's underdog team had miraculously made it to the Final Four, and there they were - holding their own against the #2 ranked team. During a timeout, the camera zoomed in on Lisa. She wasn't jumping up and down like the rest of the crowd. No -- she was sitting quietly, hands folded, head slightly bowed... praying.

And honestly...I get it. Because I've done the same thing..but over a quilt!

• "Oh please, let these seams match."
• "Just let this one block work. I don't have time to unpick again."
• "It's for my parents. It HAS to turn out beautifully!"

So this March Madness Sew Day, we invite you to bring your projects, your prayers, and your sense of humor!  There'll be:

• Fun games (solo and team-style!)
• Prizes for lucky winners
• Plenty of sewing, chatting, and laughing
• Maybe even a finish or two!
