"Stirring the Pot: Color, Chaos, and Cloth"

In this engaging lecture, Diana explores the intersection of color, intuition, and process in fabric dyeing. Through stories and examples, she demystifies materials and techniques while encouraging quilters to embrace experimentation and discover their own creative voice.
Born and raised in Denver, Diana Fox is a studio fiber artist and quilter passionate about textiles. Originally a traditional quilter, she transitioned to creating art quilts and has never looked back. She has earned numerous awards for her unique and captivating work, which tells stories of color, texture and nature's influences. She has a particular affinity for dyeing, surface design, and heavy stitching. Diana is a SAQA Juried Artist member and a member of an invitational art quilt group, 4 Common Corners. Additionally, she has mounted several solo exhibitions, including at the National Quilt Museum. She resides in parker, CO, with her life partner, three rescue dogs, and a fat cat.

This meeting will be both IN-PERSON and ONLINE via Zoom. Both meeting rooms will open at 6:15 pm and the meeting will begin at 6:30 pm Mountain time. Guests are also welcome to attend this meeting for $8.00. Please register ahead of time . If you will be attending via Zoom, please ensure that you know how to use Zoom prior to the meeting.
